How to Get 400 Max Combos in Brawl

The Ouendan trophy in "Super Smash Brothers Brawl" is unlocked by achieving a 400 cumulative max combo in training mode. The max combo achieved with every character added together to obtain this total. Unlike most other cumulative goals, you do not need to unlock most of the characters to achieve a cumulative total of 400 for the max combo. Falco is capable of easily doing more than 400 hits in a single combo under the right conditions. This allows you to fulfill the unlock requirement for the Ouendan trophy long before you unlock most of the characters.

  Start training mode. Select "Falco" as your character and "Bowser" for your opponent. Choose "Hyrule Temple" as the stage.

  Push Bowser next to the wall just to the right of the middle of Hyrule Temple. He should be sandwiched between Falco and the wall. By default, your opponent's AI in training mode is disabled, so he does not move or react to anything you do.

  Press "A," "A," "A" to perform Falco's basic combo. The first two attacks are punches. The third attack in the combo causes Falco to spin.

  Hold down "A" after Falco begins to spin. The wall prevents Bowser from being knocked out of Falco's spin attack range. This allows you to keep hitting Bowser continuously until you release the "A" button to stop the spin. Keep spinning until the combo meter is above 400. This guarantees you have achieved at least a cumulative score of 400 in the max combo counter regardless of your max combo counts with any other character.
