How to Find the Hidden Star in Boo Moon Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2

"Super Mario Galaxy 2" features many diverse galaxies to explore in an lengthy single-player mode. Among each galaxy are special collectibles for users to find as they play through the various worlds. The Boo Moon Galaxy is contained in the fifth world, a little more than halfway through the game, and has a very well-hidden star. The star does not take long to find as it is near the beginning of the level.

Instructions

- 1
  Advance to the warp star near the Dark Matter Swamp, but do not jump on the star. The pad will send you flying across the reaches of the galaxy to another platform.
- 2
  Stand on the platform for a moment. The right-side of the platform will begin to dissipate and fall into space. As it does, a block will be added to the left side of the platform.
- 3
  Walk on the platform as it dissipates behind you. Continue following the area where new blocks are added to reach the hidden star in the Boo Moon Galaxy. The platform will continue until it reaches the original platform with the warp star.
