How to Free Pikachu From Zubat

"Pokémon Snap" is a Nintendo 64 game that was released in 1999 and made available on the Wii Virtual Console in 2007. While traveling around Pokémon Island and taking photos of Pokémon, players will encounter a Pikachu that is dangling from the clutches of a Zubat. You can take photos of this scene, but if you are quick enough in pelting the Zubat with Pester Balls, you can free the Pikachu. The reward for doing so is a rare snapshot of the Pikachu floating down holding balloons.

Instructions

    • 1

Play the game until you reach a score of 75,000 points or more for all the pictures you have taken. Speak to professor Oak to receive the Pester Balls.

    • 2

Select the Cave level and wait until you reach the area where the Zubat grabs Pikachu.

    • 3

Use the analogue stick to aim your targeting cross-hair at the Zubat and press the "B" button to start pelting it with Pester Balls. The Zubat flies in an erratic pattern, so it might take a few attempts before you hit it. After you hit the Zubat with the Pester Balls, it will drop Pikachu, who will float down holding balloons. This is your chance to take a rare photo of it.
