Directions for the Wii Game Hooked

"Hooked! Real Motion Fishing" uses the unique controls of the Wii to give you a more realistic fishing experience. You'll make the same casting and hooking motions that you would if you were actually fishing, with the addition of an odd button or two. Six unique areas are available for fishing, and the controls are easy to pick up with a little practice.

Instructions

- 1
  Use the control pad to move the boat or select a fishing point. You can also press "Z" and the control stick on the nunchuk at the same time to move the boat or select a fishing point. Hold the "A" button and swing the Wii remote back. Swing it forward and release the "A" button at the same time to cast the line.

  Shake the Wii remote from side to side to shake the lure. Swing the nunchuk from side to side to reel a fish in. The speed of your swinging determines the speed that you reel the fish in.

  Swing the Wii remote upwards quickly to hook the fish once you see it take the bait. You can also swing it either left or right to hook the fish. Press the "1" button at any point to display the casting instructions.

  Press the "B" button to change the reeling to a slower speed. Press the "+" button to start a game. Press the "-" button to bring up the lure selection screen.
