Cheats for the Kids' Smash Bros. Brawl Game

"Super Smash Bros. Brawl" is a Nintendo game available exclusively for the Nintendo Wii. This version of "Smash Bros." is unique because it features online multiplayer compatibility and the ability to share custom levels with friends. "Smash Bros. Brawl" is designed for one to four players and, like its predecessors, has a number of unlockable hidden features.
  1. Hidden Characters

    • "Smash Bros. Brawl" includes several bonus characters that can be unlocked throughout the game. To unlock Captain Falcon, complete the game's classic mode in 12 minutes or less. Ganondorf is unlocked by completing classic mode on hard difficulty with either Zelda or Link. Jigglypuff can be won two ways: through completing classic mode or completing event match No. 20. To unlock Sonic, complete classic mode with 10 different characters or play Brawl for 10 total hours.

    Special Stages

    • Like the characters in "Smash Bros. Brawl," several hidden stages can be unlocked. To unlock the 75m and Green Greens stages, play with Donkey Kong or Jigglypuff 20 times respectively. To unlock the Greenhill Zone, unlock Sonic and the stage will unlock as well. For the stages of Hanenbow and Mario Bros, complete event matches Nos. 28 and 19, respectively.

    Zero Suit Samus

    • An alternate version of Samus known as Zero Suit Samus can be accessed. Zero Suit Samus is Samus without her armor and with an alternate set of attacks. One way to unlock Zero Suit Samus is to hold down the "Minus" button (or the "R" button on the classic controller) on the stage select screen, select Samus as your character, select the stage, than release the button. Your battle should begin with your Samus without her armor. To switch midbattle, alternate pressing "Up" and "Down" repeatedly on the D-pad, though this method works only on the classic controller and can be done only once.

    Alternate Modes

    • Several alternate modes are accessible in "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" that feature alternate storylines and stages. All Star Mode features a one-player storyline with alternate levels and is automatically unlocked when all 35 characters are unlocked. To unlock Battle Boss Mode, a mode where all the bosses from All Star Mode are faced at once, complete both the adventure and classic modes. For an alternate version of the Mushroomy Kingdom Stage, hold down the "B" button (or "R" button on the classic controller), select the Mushroomy Kingdom Stage, then release the button after the match starts.
