How to Catch a Fly Ball in Super Sluggers

Nintendo published "Mario Super Sluggers" in 2008 for the Wii. It is a baseball game that lets players field a team of characters from the "Super Mario" series, such as Luigi, Princess Peach and Yoshi. When a batter hits a fly ball, the player can catch it and to score an out. Some characters also have special abilities that enhance their ability to catch fly balls, while others can perform regular jumps to snatch the flies out of the air.

Instructions

- 1
  Press the "A" button to switch between your characters. Choose a character in the fly ball's trajectory.

  Shake the Wii remote to run. The faster you shake the remote, the faster you'll run.

  Use the analog stick on the Nunchuk to control your direction. Run towards the ball.

  Position your character immediately in front of the ball.
- 5
  Push the "2" button to jump and catch the fly ball. If your character has a special ability such as Luigi's super jump or Yoshi's tongue snatch, pushing the "2" button will trigger it instead.
