How to Find Sonic in Subspace Emissary

"Super Smash Bros. Brawl" features several characters from the Nintendo universe teaming up to turn back an invasion. Some characters can only be unlocked through completing certain tasks or by defeating certain enemies, and Sonic the Hedgehog is one of these characters. If you make it through the "Great Maze" in the "Subspace Emissary" area, Sonic will appear automatically and will be unlocked for all game modes.

     Complete the "Great Maze" level. This level is the 31st and final stage of the "Subspace Emissary" area.

     Begin the final boss battle with Tabuu. Roll and dodge his wing attacks, attack him heavily when he grows to an immense size, avoid his yellow cage attack and use the "Rock Smash" attack to defeat him.

     Unlock Sonic for defeating Tabuu. Once Tabuu is defeated, Sonic will be available to play in all game modes.
