How to Get 2 Players on Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Playing Super Smash Brothers Brawl alone is fun, but with a friend it's even better. Adding a second player to the Super Smash Brothers Brawl game is not difficult with two Nintendo Wii remotes and the game CD. Wi-Fi with strangers doesn't allow two-player mode on the same Wii, to keep the games fair, but all other fight modes allow two-player play. A wide selection of characters and stages makes Super Smash Brothers Brawl a different game each time you play.

Instructions

  Turn on the Wii and put the Super Smash Brothers Brawl in the game console.

  Aim it at the television screen to select the icon showing the Super Smash Brothers Brawl game. Press A to select it and then press A again on the "Start" icon on the game title screen.

  Secure the remote in your hand and press A and then A again to get to the game's main menu. Turn the Wii controller sideways with the 1 and 2 buttons on the right and use it in this manner to navigate the menus.

  Select "Group", "Solo" or "Nintendo Wi-Fi" and press A to get to the player selection screen. The Wi-Fi screen is where you join a brawl room created by a friend on another Wii console. Choose whether you want to save your game progress at this point.

  Choose a character with the direction pad and move the P1 and P2 game tokens over the image of the character you want to use. Press A to confirm your choice and then press the "+" button on the Wii controller to begin your game with two players.
