The Wii video game console from Nintendo allows children, families and adults to enjoy playing a variety of games. - Most new Wii consoles comes with the bundle package of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. The video game includes a variety of sports such as tennis, bowling, baseball and boxing. The Wii Sports Resort offers additional games including swordplay, wakeboarding, Frisbee and basketball. Most of these sports are meant to be played in groups, which makes the game a good option for a game night with friends. Although multiple controllers is recommended, one controller can be shared and passed around. Create a tournament-like setting with one or more of the games to make the game night even more interesting.
Active Life: Outdoor Challenge
- Outdoor Challenge is part of the Active Life series of games. The goal of each game is to use the entire body to compete in a variety of sporting events, such as log jumping, river rafting, jump rope, water trampoline and mine cart racing. Because most of the game options require multiple players, and those players work in synchronization to navigate through the games, players go through a training mode prior to starting the games to learn about how to work together. The game also comes with an active life mat, which is required for many of the games.

- Dance Dance Revolution has an easy concept. Follow the steps and dance to the music. It is a fun game to play in groups and gives players a high energy, fitness workout at the same time. The game includes a dance platform or mat, and it judges players based on how closely they have stayed to the dance patterns. It is a good game to play as a group because it allows people to express themselves through dance, while having fun. To add a little more excitement to the game, create a Dance Dance Revolution tournament, where players can compete to see who gets the most Perfects in the game or the highest score overall.
