How to Repair the Guitar Hero Drum Set for Wii

The game "Guitar Hero" for Wii allows players to be part of their own band -- the game comes with a microphone, a guitar and a drum kit. Unfortunately, after use the sensors inside the drum kit can become loose, resulting in erratic gameplay. You can permanently affix the sensors inside the kit by applying some hot glue.

Things You'll Need

Phillips screwdriver
Hot glue gun

Instructions

  Remove the legs from the drum kit and place the kit face-down on the floor.

  Unscrew all the screws from the back of the kit with a Phillips head screwdriver.

  Hold back the foam circle surrounding the drum sensor so it doesn't get burned when you apply the hot glue.

  Apply three small blobs of glue around the sensor to secure it to the plastic. Repeat the procedure to glue down the two remaining drum sensors.
- 5
  Replace the cover and screw in the screws. Test the drums to make sure they are functioning.
