Instructions
Offensive Plays
Go through menus and options with the Wii remote D-pad. Make selections with the "A" button and when prompted.
Use the Nunchuk control stick to move players on both offense and defense. Change which player you control with the Wii remote D-pad.
Use the D-pad to make your play selection and press "A" to confirm this selection. When the the team approaches the line of scrimmage, press "2" or "B" to make a quick audible play change.
Press "A" to hike the ball. Use the Nunchuk control stick to move the quarterback backwards. Lock on to a player with the D-pad or by pointing and pressing the "Z" button.
Swing the remote forward to release the ball. When the ball gets near the receiver, swing the remote toward your chest to catch the ball.
Hold the "B" button to sprint while carrying the ball. Press "Left" or "Right" on the D-pad to give players a stiff arm.
Press "A" to spin around a defensive player. Press "Z" to juke them and sprint forward. Jerk the remote toward your chest to break defensive tackles. Press and hold "C" to dive forward toward the end zone or out of bounds.
Call a timeout with the "Minus" button after the play ends. Execute a hurry-up offense with the "A" button. Spike the ball down with "B." Watch an instant replay by pressing "C" and "Z" at the same time.
Defensive Plays
Use the control stick and the "B" button to move and sprint on the field.
Swing the Wii remote to tackle players, break the offensive line or spin away from opponents. Hold down on the D-pad and swing the Wii remote to make a low tackle on an opponent.
Swing the Wii remote outward to swat at an offensive player with a ball. Jump in the air and try to intercept the ball with a swing up toward your chest.
Hold the "A" button and swing the Wii remote like a leg to kick field goals, punts or kickoffs.
Press "C" to dive toward a fumbled football and recover it. When in a pile, shake the Wii remote to dig for the ball.
