How to Play Wall-E on the Wii

Take control of titular character Wall-E or Eve in this 2008 game for the Nintendo Wii. Following the plot of the movie, you must traverse a desolate Earth and then make your way through the Axiom space ship while dodging enemy robots. You can play alone or cooperate with a friend as you race to save a rare plant specimen from destruction. The game makes use of some of the Wii remote's motion controls and is relatively easy to pick up and play.

Instructions

    • 1

Use the control stick on the nunchuk attachment to move characters. Pressing "Left" or "Right" on the Wii remote control pad will adjust the in-game camera. "Up" enters precision mode while pressing "Up" twice in rapid succession will enter the game's first-person view.

    • 2

Make Wall-E jump with either the "A" button the Wii remote or the "C" button on the nunchuk. Pressing these buttons will make Eve accelerate.

    • 3

Fire a laser with the "B" button on the Wii remote.

    • 4

Pause the game by pressing "1" on the Wii remote.

    • 5

Press the "Z" button on the nunchuk to cause Eve to brake and make a laser scan.

    • 6

Shake the Wii remote to pick up power cubes. Cycle through them by shaking the nunchuk. If you hold "B" while pressing "A" you will throw a cube.

    • 7

Complete the game's final level, "Homecoming," by using EVE to take Wall-E to safety on Earth. Accelerate through the canyon and avoid the fans and blowing steam in the tunnel. You have one minute to race through this level so avoid braking.
