Place the Wii Fit disc into the Wii gaming system and press the "A" button on the Wii remote. Select the "Start" button and press to begin the downloading process. Choose to save the data when the screen asks about how to process the information.
Press the red button in the balance board battery compartment and the red button on the Wii console to synchronize the balance board with the Wii Fit game on the television. When the blue power button light comes on, the balance board has successfully registered with the gaming system. Users can create an individual exercise profile, plan and password before starting the designated exercise routines.
Choose the routine which best suits your needs from the main menu to begin customization of your workout process. The exercises fall into four main categories: Strength training, aerobics, yoga and balance games. Each category provides unique exercises designed to produce a specific result, from increased cardiovascular health in aerobics to increased flexibility and energy in yoga.
