How to Load Wii Games From SD Cards

With the Nintendo Wii you can load games and channels directly from a compatible SD card using the console's built-in SD card reader. To access the game titles, channels and other items on your card, simply open the "SD Card Menu." In some cases, you may need to perform a Wii system update to get the latest SD card reader and menu features. The software update requires an Internet connection.

  Power off the Wii console.

  Open the SD card slot cover, and insert the SD card into the slot, label facing the game disc slot.

  Power on the Wii console, and select the "SD Card Menu" icon from the left bottom corner of the main menu.

  Select an item from the "SD Card Menu," and press the "A" button on the Wii controller. The Wii displays 12 items per page, so you may need to scroll to find other items on the card.

  Click the "Start" button with the Wii remote to run the game directly from the SD card.
