How to Get Shadow on Super Smash Bros. for the Wii

"Super Smash Bros. Brawl" for the Nintendo Wii introduced new characters into the "Super Smash Bros." franchise, including Sonic the Hedgehog as an unlockable character. Though Shadow the Hedgehog, from the Sonic video game series, is not an unlockable character, he appears as an assist trophy. An assist trophy is an item in the game that you can use to harm other players. When Shadow appears from an assist trophy, he slows down everyone's movement except for the person who used the assist trophy.

Instructions

  Start "Super Smash Bros. Brawl."

  Unlock Sonic the Hedgehog as a playable character by participating in 300 brawl matches, completing Classic Mode with 10 different characters or by playing the Subspace Emissary until the last boss, where Sonic joins your party. Once you unlock Sonic, the Shadow assist trophy is unlocked.

  Turn "Assist Trophies" on in the item selection screen before you begin a "Brawl" match. All other modes automatically have assist trophies turned on.

  When an assist trophy appears on the screen, press "A" to grab it and press "A" again to throw it. There's a chance Shadow the Hedgehog will appear in each assist trophy.
