How to Play a Wii at Different Locations

Wii is a motion sensor gaming system introduced by Nintendo in 2006. With Wii's wide variety of entertaining games, it's no wonder you'd want to bring it everywhere you go. Whether it's to stay in shape while on a family vacation or play games while visiting friends, as long as there's a television and an outlet, Nintendo Wii is a system everyone can enjoy.

Instructions

      RCA plugs are used to carry audio and video signals.

      Connect the AV Cable. Insert the "AV Multi Out" plug -- the flat gray end -- into the "AV Multi Out" slot in the back of the Wii console. Insert the RCA plugs -- red, white and yellow -- on the other end of the cable into the television.

      Set up the Sensor Bar. Insert the sensor bar's plug into the "sensor bar connector" in back of the Wii console. Place the sensor bar above or in front of the television.

      Power the Console. Insert the "DC" plug on the Wii adapter into the "DC input" slot in the back of the Wii. Insert the "AC" plug located at the other end of the adapter into a 120V outlet.

      Select input settings with your remote control.

      Turn on the Wii. Press the "Power" button located on the front of the console. Turn on your television and select the correct input setting until you see the Wii menu.

      Check the Sensor. Stand directly in front of the television, 3 to 10 feet away, and press a button on the Wii remote. You should see a "hand" icon on the screen.
