Instructions on How to Get a Wii Fit Set Up

Most of the exercises and activities in "Wii Fit" utilize the Wii balance board accessory, which is synchronized to the console in the same way as the wireless Wii remotes. The balance board is a sensitive device, and its underside can't come into contact with the ground, so Nintendo recommends attaching the foot extensions that come packaged with the board, especially if you plan to play on thick carpeting. These preliminary steps only need to be performed before you play "Wii Fit" for the first time. After that, you only need to power on the balance board to play.
