How to Use Wii Bass Pro Fishing

The Wii fishing game "Bass Pro Shops: The Strike" features controls specific to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk attachment. The controller's motion-sensing capabilities are used for casting the line and bringing in any caught fish. The game provides useful tools for the fishing experience including a GPS and Drag Meter. Both can also be controlled using the remote. Choose any of the 10 available lakes to cast your line and enjoy a digital afternoon out on the water.

Instructions

  Use the "A" button to make selections and go into "Fish Mode." Use the directional pad to change the line tension and control the Drag Meter.

  Press the "B" button to go backwards. Press and hold the "B" button plus the forward motion of casting or the backward motion of reeling for the corresponding action during Fish Mode.

  Press "1" or the "Plus" button to pause the game. Press "2" to check the GPS.

  Press the "Minus" button to check and access your Inventory. Use the Nunchuk's control stick to steer, target and accelerate. Use the "Z" button for a faster reel or cycle through cast stances.
