Getting Milk
In all versions of "Viva Pinata," milk is sold in Costolot's Store, but the price is steep: it costs 1,400 chocolate coins, and it isn't available until you reach Level 11. With Moozipan pinatas and a milking shed in your garden, you can produce your own milk and transform it into cheese.
Moozipan Information
In "Viva Pinata" and "Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise," Moozipans are domestic pinatas. They can't be lured into your garden; rather, you have to buy them from village shops. Visit the Paper Pets shop when you reach Level 25 in "Viva Pinata" and buy a Moozipan for 3,080 coins. In "Pocket Paradise," Gretchen Fetchem sells the Moozipan for 2,800 coins once you reach Level 5. In "Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise," wild Moozipans appear when your garden contains at least five square pinometers of long grass and a decorative milk churn. Moozipans will visit when 10 square pinometers of the garden are long grass and you have 10 full-grown buttercups in the garden. The Moozipan becomes a resident when 15 square pinometers are tall grass and the pinata has eaten five buttercups and two gooseberry fools -- tinkered gooseberries.
Milking Shed
Willy Builder constructs all the pinata houses and special buildings in "Viva Pinata." Your Moozipans need a milking shed to produce milk, and the requirements are the same in all three games: as long as you have at least one Moozipan in your garden, Willy will build a milking shed for 616 chocolate coins. When the shed is built, select a Moozipan, then select the shed. A bottle of milk appears outside the shed. To produce more milk, feed a sunflower to the Moozipan, then send it back into the milking shed. You can buy a bell from the Paper Pets shop in "Viva Pinata" and "Trouble in Paradise" and equip it to a Moozipan to make it automatically produce milk. The bell isn't available in "Pocket Paradise."
Making Cheese
When your milk is ready, it's time to stop in at Bart's Exchange. In "Pocket Paradise," Bart charges 100 chocolate coins to tinker any item. In "Viva Pinata" and "Trouble in Paradise," Bart sells bronze, silver and gold tinkering tickets. Bronze tickets are the least expensive, but also the least effective, while gold tickets are the most expensive but 100 percent effective. Once you select your ticket type, highlight the bottle of milk in your garden and confirm your purchase. Bart enters your garden and works his magic, turning the milk into cheese.
Making Cheesecake
In "Trouble in Paradise," cheese can be taken one step further and tinkered into cheesecake. This food item is necessary to evolve a Rashberry into a Hoghurt. You receive the Hogurt Evolution achievement and 20 gamerscore points when you feed a cheesecake to a Rashberry.
