How to Start Your Own Septagon Clan in Halo 3

Videogame developer Bungie's "Halo" game series allows gamers to control protagonist Master Chief and other elite Space Marines as they battle against the alien Covenant race. Players can also take on each other via online multiplayer death matches. Septagon, Bungie's online "Halo"-specific forum, hosts several clans of online players who recognize strength is in numbers and band together to take on other clans. Creating your own custom clan is fairly simple, but the rules are stringent.

Instructions

    • 1

Log on to Bungie.net, the developer's main site, and register for a new account if you haven't already done so. As of 2011, registration is free. Follow the prompts and click on "Groups" listed underneath your Bungie name. Click "Create New Group" on the right of your screen once the new window opens.

    • 2

Read over Bungie's user agreement and click "I Accept." The agreement says you'll use common courtesy when engaging in fair online game play. Also, no profanity, rudeness or personal attacks on other players will be tolerated. Infractions may result in the suspension or termination of the clan and your account.

    • 3

Fill the top field with a name for your clan. A drop down box will appear with suggestions should you want to have this step performed for you. Fill in the Group Motto field with a mantra that is inherent to your clan's identity. For example, you could choose "death's bringers" or "we will prevail." Fill in the group description for other clans to see such as, "We're a group of plumbers who will destroy you." Click "Create Group" to finalize your clan for approval.
