How to Increase the Pie Maker Level in Fable

Equipment in "Fable III" isn't cheap, but if you need a few extra gold coins, try your hand at pie making, one of two new jobs introduced in the "Fable" series. To make pies, you need to hit either the "X," "Y" or "A" button when a prompt appears on the screen. For each pie you make, your gold multiplier increases slightly until you reach the cap for your current level. Leveling up your pie making ability increases the difficulty of the job, but also increases the amount of gold you can earn per pie.

Instructions

  Collect as many Guild Seals as possible. You get Guild Seals for completing main story quests and side quests. Some chests also contain Guild Seals.

  Progress through the main story of "Fable III" to unlock sections of the Road to Rule. The Road to Rule is the place where you level up your skills, including jobs.

  Pause the game to enter the Road to Rule. Look for chests labeled "Pie Making Level 2" through "Pie Making Level 5." Pay the indicated amount of Guild Seals to unlock the next level of pie making. The upgrades cost five, 10, 25 and 85 Guild Seals.

  Go to one of the pie making job locations in Bowerstone Market or Brightwall. When you are making pies, a bar appears on the screen. When a cursor scrolls across a blue segment of the bar, press "X." For a yellow segment, press "Y"; for a green segment, press "A."

  Hit all of the correct buttons to increase your gold multiplier. As the multiplier increases, you have less time to press the correct buttons. If you make one mistake, your multiplier resets to zero.
