How to Put RAR Files From a Computer Onto an XBox With XBox Xecuter

The Xbox Xecuter Blaster360 is a modification that installs outside of the Xbox 360. The chip alters the way the operating system works to allow third-party program files to be installed on the hard drive, as well as other functionalities. The procedure for installing a RAR-format file is straightforward, once the Xecuter Blaster360 has been installed, and requires a USB flash drive and a computer. You do not need any expertise in how the modification works in order to put the RAR-format files on the Xbox's hard drive.

USB flash drive, 2 gigabytes
Xbox 360 game controller

Instructions

Transfering RAR files

  Insert a USB flash drive into an open USB port on the computer. Click "Start," followed by "Computer."

  Click "Devices" in the window that appears on the screen. Click on the USB flash drive's icon that is in the left side of the window.

  Drag the RAR file from the computer's hard drive into the window to the right of the icon. Do nothing until the "Copy" pop-up window has disappeared.

  Right-click the USB flash drive's icon. Select "Eject" from the pop-up menu. Close the window on the screen by clicking the "X" in its upper right corner. Remove the USB flash drive from the computer.

  Insert the USB flash drive into a USB port on the Xbox 360. Plug an Xbox 360 game controller into one of the controller ports on the console.Turn the Xbox 360 on.

  Move across the screen to highlight "System. Press the "A" button. Select "Memory." Press the "A" button.

  Select the USB flash drive's icon from the choices on the screen. Press "A" to see the content of the drive. Select the RAR-format file or files to copy to the hard drive. Press the "A" button to bring up the pop-up menu. Select "Copy" from the menu and press "A."

  Navigate back to the main menu once the copying has been done. Turn the Xbox 360 off. Remove the USB flash drive.
