Instructions
Gather the appropriate materials. Different players use different building materials to change the appearance of their TV, but for the sake of this example, use five bookshelf blocks, six black wool blocks and four stone slabs. As you get more comfortable building furniture, you can substitute your own materials, but this is all you need for a very basic TV.
Lay down the five bookshelf blocks in a row as your foundation. This will act as the bottom shelf of a home entertainment center that the TV will rest on.
Lay three black wool blocks across the three center bookshelf blocks. This will be the bottom half of your TV. Lay the other three black wool blocks on top in the exact same fashion. This will create a basic TV.
Lay down two of the stone slabs on top of the left-most bookshelf block. Then lay down the other two stone slabs on top of the right-most bookshelf block. This will create a basic illusion of speakers for the TV.
Play around with the building materials and customize the TV as you see fit. Some players prefer to create a background of clay blocks for the TV with glass blocks in front of it to create a "shiny" effect. Some prefer to change the size, shape, or even use signposts as makeshift "Volume" and "Channel" buttons. Find out what works best for you.
