How to Jump on Kinect Sports

The Kinect is Microsoft's motion-control gaming answer to the PlayStation Move and the Nintendo Wii. Rather than using a controller for motion sensing, however, the Kinect utilizes a camera and infra-red technology to track your entire body movement. This allows games such as "Kinect Sports" to incorporate all your movements into the game, rather than just hand motions.

     Position the Microsoft Kinect camera in a place where its view of the room is not obstructed, then place yourself in front of it.

     Play through "Kinect Sports" until you reach a point where you need your character to jump.

     Jump. The Kinect sensor will translate your physical jump into a virtual jump in "Kinect Sports."
