How to Make a Clan in Halo: Reach

The massively successful "Halo" series, produced by technology conglomerate Microsoft and associated production company Bungie, released its series prequel in September 2010 called "Halo: Reach." One of the most popular features of "Halo" has always been the Xbox Live multiplayer modes. In fact, "Reach" shattered records for concurrent Xbox Live gamers online following the game's release according to PC World. Gaming on "Halo" is made even more interesting by the battles of the clans, or groups of friends that play together, generally developing strategies and competing in online competitions against one another.

  Navigate your Web browser to the website of Bungie, the game's manufacturer. Most "free agents" will look for clans here.

  Create an account or sign in using either of the two corresponding buttons on the right side near the top. You will be prompted to sign in with your user ID and password. Fill them in and sign in or fill out the form if you don't yet have an account.

  Click "Groups" under the profile page once you have been redirected there after signing in.

  Click "Create New Group" and fill out the requested information to start your clan. Note that your account must be older than 14 days to create a new group. If not, you may want to consider joining another clan temporarily or having a friend with an older account start the group.

  Create a promotional Web page or video and post the links to your social networks to start publicizing your clan. Alternatively, hand-pick good players that you meet in the course of regular games on "Reach" and ask them to join your clan.

  Create a logo and clan tag to use in game and make sure that your entire clan is on the same page about strategy and times to be online before beginning to sign up for clan matches, which can generally be found in the forums section on the Bungie website or on other fan sites.
