How to Get on the Catwalk on Zombies

In the zombie map "Der Riese" in "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and "Call of Duty: World at War," there is a catwalk you can walk across if you open enough doors to new areas. This catwalk extends over the power switch area, and once you reach the other side, you can jump down to it, which is convenient if you haven't activated it yet. The catwalk is one of several escape routes you can take through the map.

Instructions

  Select the "Der Riese" map from the "Zombies" menu of "Call of Duty: Black Ops" or "Call of Duty: World at War." Wait for the map to load onscreen and then begin playing as you normally do.

  Open the door to the right side of the Pack-a-Punch (weapon-upgrading) machine and follow the linear passageway through the building until you get to the power switch. Turn on the power, if desired.

  Walk into the next building and continue following the passageway until you get to a ledge overlooking the power switch. Further down the ledge will be a catwalk connecting the two buildings. Walk across the catwalk and play the rest of the game as you normally would.
