How to Install Call of Duty Map Packs

Eventually, playing the original maps in "Call of Duty" can become boring. Instead of buying a new game, you can simply purchase and install new map packs. Map packs are just what the name implies--a selection of new maps that can be played on your current game. If your friends purchase the maps pack, as well, you can play these new maps in online mode, too.

Instructions

      Choose the Xbox Live option from the main "Call of Duty" menu.

      Select the "Bonus Content" option from the Xbox Live menu.

      Select the map pack you would like to purchase from the list of available downloads.

      Fill in your credit card and personal information. Select each number and letter by moving using the directional pad on your controller and by pressing the "A" button.

      Select the "Purchase" button on the screen to complete the transaction. The map pack will automatically download.

    • 6

      Access your new maps the same way you would any map during game play.
