How to Change the Hair Color of an Xbox Avatar

The Xbox 360 allows you to create a custom avatar associated with your gamertag, giving you a virtual identity that others view on the console's online gaming service, Xbox Live. Every console comes with an avatar customization application, giving you dozens of options for each characteristic of your avatar, such as height, nose shape and hair color. Open the avatar customization application and edit your avatar's hair color as desired.

     Sign in to your Xbox profile.

     Go to the "My Xbox" area of the Dashboard menu.

     Scroll right and select your gamertag.

     Choose "Customize Avatar." The avatar customization application opens.

     Choose "Change My Features."

     Choose "Hairstyles."

   • 7

     Choose a hairstyle from the list. A list of hair colors appears after you choose your hairstyle.

     Select a hair color.

     Press "B" to go back to the avatar customization main menu.

     Select "Save and Exit."
