How to Employ a Diggerling on Viva Pinata

Employ a Diggerling in "Viva Piñata" to dig in a mine and find items such as emeralds, sapphires and chocolate coins. "Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise" is a game for the Xbox 360 which focuses on the player's ability to create a garden which attracts Piñatas, done by fulfilling a series of requirements for each one. The Diggerling is classed as a helper, which helps you out with some garden work, and is able to work in mines. You get an achievement for hiring a Diggerling, and find numerous items in the mine he builds.

Instructions

  Advance through the game to Level 26. You level up on "Viva Piñata" by attracting new piñatas to your garden and having multiples or variants of those species. Attract seven of any given species to your garden to achieve the "Master Romancer" award. Level up by growing plants, and for achieving a new fertilization level for each plant. Gain awards which lead to leveling up for doing things, such as finding new handles or heads for your shovel and new watering cans.

  Earn 2,420 chocolate coins, which are the primary form of currency on the game. Earn chocolate coins by trading in your piñata, or by selling produce created by your garden, such as fruit from trees, or even honey produced by Buzzlegum. Collect and sell candy from smashed piñatas to gain some more chocolate coins. Bear in mind that an intact piñata is more valuable than a destroyed one.

  Earn an additional 16,500 chocolate coins if you want your Diggerling to be able to do some work. You need the additional money to buy a mine. Work on your garden to attract more piñatas and to produce more resources to sell for chocolate coins. Earn the total required amount of coins and then visit Willy Builder to purchase a mine. Build your mine near to town or within short distance of a Helper House. This means you will get more work out of your Diggerling when you buy it.

  Go to Arfur's Inn once you have enough coins to buy a Diggerling. Purchase a Diggerling from the shop in exchange for 2,420 chocolate coins. Sprinkle a Diggerling with water to keep him happy. Helpers also like to be paid in chocolate coins. Give your Diggerling chocolate coins occasionally to keep him happy and keep him working. Sell the items Diggerling finds for you if you wish to make your investment coins back.
