How to Get the Winter's Fury in Zombies

The Winter's Howl is one of the Wonder Weapons (special guns) available on the maps "Five" and "Verruckt" in the video game "Call of Duty: Black Ops." When fired, the Winter's Howl shoots ice crystals that will slow down zombies and eventually encase them in blocks of ice. In the "Five" map, players can upgrade the Winter's Howl to increase its effectiveness. When upgraded, the Winter's Howl becomes the Winter's Fury.

Instructions

  Load the "Five" map in "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and play the game as you normally would until you find the mystery box. The mystery box appears at random in the map, so you may have to open several doors to new areas to find it.

  Walk up to the mystery box and activate it. (The controller button you need to press will be indicated onscreen.) In a moment, a random gun will pop out of the box. Repeat as many times as necessary until the Winter's Howl comes out.

  Continue playing the game as you normally would until you get to the Pack-a-Punch room. You have two options for getting there. Activate the switches on the wall of the large room to program the teleporter (located in the center of the room) to bring you there, or wait for one of the zombies to drop a Pack-a-Punch power-up.

  Walk up to the Pack-a-Punch machine and place the Winter's Howl in it. After a moment in the machine, an upgraded version of the weapon called the Winter's Fury will be returned to you.
