How to Do the God Mode Glitch in Call of Duty 4 for the Xbox Without a Computer

The video game "Call of Duty 4: World at War" has a number of cheat codes and glitches that can give players unlimited lives, invincibility or other extreme advantages during game play. However, many of these cheats, specifically the "god mode" glitch, are only available in the PC version of the game, and not on the Xbox platform. The "god mode" glitch cannot be executed without a computer.

Instructions

  Launch "Call of Duty: World at War" on your computer. Join a server to play in a multiplayer environment. Look at the teams for the game you are joining to identify which side - German or Allies - has the fewest players.

  Use the watch to count down the 15-second delay to start the game. Be on the team that has the highest number of players. Stay on the screen where the guns are selected. At the last moment before the game begins, click on a gun that belongs to the team with the fewest players. The character will have the uniform and weapon of one team but will be actually playing for the other team. The character will be invincible via the "god mode" glitch.

  Verify that the character is in "god mode" by clicking the tab key, which will show that the character is on the team opposite from how it appears by uniform and weaponry. Attempting to pick up guns, ammunition or flags in "god mode" will be unsuccessful, so the character will run out of ammunition quickly.
