How to Hook-Up an Xbox 360 to an Ultravision TV

An Ultravision TV offers Xbox 360 players a large screen instead of a small TV. These early LCD models include the requirements necessary to hook up an Xbox. You need an Internet connection to use all features of the Xbox. Make sure your Ultravision television is close enough to the router if you do not have a wireless Xbox console.

Instructions

  Plug the power cord into the back of the Xbox. Plug the other end into a free outlet near your television.

  Plug the AV cord into the designated slot on the back of the console. Plug the colored cords into the back of the TV in the matching jacks. The red, yellow and white cords fit into the two "audio in" and "video in" jacks.

  Plug the Ethernet cable into the back of the console and plug the cord into the router if you have the original Xbox 360 that is not wireless.

  Tune the television to the input or input channel into which the Xbox 360 is plugged.
