How Do I Softmod My Xbox for Halo 2?

Modify your Xbox game console's operating system. The transformation is done through software, or a "softmod," which obviates the need to install anything inside the case. Once the adjustment is made, a game such as "Halo 2" can be played utilizing commands that otherwise would not be possible. Supplies from a computer store or electronics store will be needed.

Things You'll Need

  • Xbox USB controller
  • USB thumb drive, 3 gigabytes
  • Splinter Cell video game
