How to Access Couch Social in Viva Pinata

The Couch Social feature allows players to drop in and out quickly in "Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise" so that friends and family can help you run the garden from the same room. Playing in a Couch Social is an excellent way to introduce someone to "Viva Pinata" without having to start a new garden from scratch as they help to grow cactus plants and feed your Limeoceros. Two achievements are unlocked from playing a few hours in Couch Social mode, so grab a buddy and work together to make the perfect pinata garden.

Instructions

  Load a saved garden using Player 1's Xbox 360 controller. Couch Social is more enjoyable for both players if there is already a somewhat developed garden to play in.

  Plug in or activate a second controller to the Xbox 360 console. Either plug the controller into one of the two USB ports on the front of the console or hold the central "Guide" button until it activates.

  Press the "A" button on Player 2's controller to start playing Couch Social. The second player will have access to basic tools such as the watering can and the shovel, but will not be able to do potentially unwanted actions such as selling pinata animals to the store.
