How to Change the MS Ping on an Xbox

MS ping refers to the amount of time it takes data to travel to a location and return to its point of origin. If you are playing games online with your Xbox 360, a high MS ping may prevent you from succeeding. The higher your MS ping, the more lag you will experience while playing online. To decrease your ping when playing online, you need to open certain ports on your router to optimize your connection.
