How to Remove the Muzzle Flash From Call of Duty 2 Rifles

"Call of Duty 2" was released in mid-2005 for the PC and for the Xbox 360 later in the year when that console became available. It offers a single-player campaign and an online multiplayer mode in which players can compete against each other in maps similar to the ones in the single-player campaign. CoD2's rifles feature muzzle flash, but you can remove the flash from the rifles in multiplayer mode with the silencer attachment.

Instructions

  Load the "Call of Duty 2" game disc on your console and select "Multiplayer" from the main menu.

  Select the "Custom Classes" option from the menu and decide which rifle you want to use.

  Choose "Silencer" from the attachments menu after you select your rifle and then finish building your custom class with the desired options.

  Join a match and use your rifle. You will notice that when you shoot that the rifle is much quieter and no longer has a muzzle flash.
