How to Get Giant Walls on Sandbox in Halo 3

Sandbox is a downloadable multiplayer map for "Halo 3" that was included with the "Mythic Map Pack." The map provides fans of the game's Forge mode with a large, nearly blank canvas for building maps, racetracks and other structures. If you want to wall off certain parts of Sandbox to keep players either in or out, you will need to do some creative stacking with some of Forge's larger building blocks. Keep in mind that every block counts against your budget, so you should only build walls high enough to contain players.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on "Halo 3" and launch Forge from the main game menu.

    • 2

Select Sandbox as your Forge map and hit "Start Forge."

    • 3

Hit "Up" on the directional pad to enter Edit Mode and press "X" to open the Object Palette.

    • 4

Select the "Scenery" palette and scroll until you hit "Wall" or "Double Wall." Both are the same height, but the double wall is twice as wide.

    • 5

Place the wall wherever you would like on the map. You can rotate the wall by holding the left trigger button and moving the control stick, or place it in its current form.

    • 6

Open the object palette again and select another wall.

    • 7

Place this wall directly on top of the first wall.

    • 8

Continue placing walls until your barrier reaches the desired height.
