How to Get Winter's Howl in Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies

The "Winter's Howl" is one of the special weapons available in the "Nazi Zombies" game mode of "Call of Duty: Black Ops." It is exclusive to the "Five" and "Verruckt" zombie maps and is powerful, so if you're playing one of these maps it would be a good idea to get it. When the Winter's Howl is fired, zombies in its path sustain damage from ice crystals and then will freeze into solid ice after taking enough damage.

Instructions

- 1
  Start "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and select "Nazi Zombies" as your game mode. Choose "Five" or "Verruckt" as your map.

  Play the game as you normally would until you find the mystery box. The mystery box will be in a different location every game, so search the rooms carefully and open as many doors as necessary.

  Walk up to the mystery box when you find it and press the indicated button to purchase a mystery weapon from it. After a second or two the weapon will pop out for you to pick up.

  Repeat the previous step as many times as necessary for the Winter's Howl gun to pop out. The order in which the guns come out is random, so it may take several tries before you get it.
