Sell your Xbox on eBay. You can sell items on the site after you create a seller's account (see References). Be prepared to enter your debit, credit or bank account information. This is needed to make and receive payments, including seller's fees. After you create the account, you'll be guided through the process if setting up your seller's page and the rules for selling your items. Select how you want to sell: auction style or a fixed price. After you select the selling option, enter the product information and photos. Buyers will then be able to search for your item and purchase it from the eBay site.
Sell your item on Craigslist. This is a convenient option if you prefer to sell your item locally and avoid the hassle of shipping it. Create a product listing for the modified Xbox. You must select the product category, which is "Video Gaming" located under the For Sale section. Fill out the listing form, including the title, price, and a description of the product. Be sure to describe your payment methods. For example, if you prefer to receive cash only, be sure to specify "cash only." Click "Continue" to complete the product listing. Have the person meet you to purchase the item. Protect yourself by meeting in a public place such as a restaurant to make the exchange. Refrain from having sellers come to your house to pick up the game, if possible.
Sell your product on a social network, such as Facebook. This option is safer than selling to random buyers in your area, as you are likely to know the person you are selling it to. The easiest way to do so on Facebook, for example, is to update your status letting your friends know that you're trying to sell a modified Xbox. People are likely to send you an "Inbox" message or reply to your status update directly. Negotiate with them online or over the phone about your price and how to pick it up .
