How to Free Fire a Javelin

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a first person shooter game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gaming platforms. The game was released in late 2009 and is the sixth in the Call of Duty series. The game can be played as a campaign, cooperative or multi-player online and consists of a set of missions that must be completed in order to finish the game. There are several different weapons a team can use to defeat their enemies, including the tricky but effective javelin.

  Aim down the scope to your intended target.

  Lock onto you intended target. This can be achieved by "staring" through the scope for a few moments. Be patient, as the scope has the tendency to lock on several things if you pause too long.

  Press the trigger for firing and the javelin will find its intended target. Note that you must lock on to a target before firing the javelin. You can lock on vehicles, landscapes, containers and other components, making the javelin a very valuable weapon to learn how to use.
