How to Open the Chest in the Hero's Guild in Fable II

The Hero's Guild in "Fable II" for the Xbox 360 has a chest that usually appears to be locked. There is no key for this chest within the game. The purpose of the Hero's Guild chest is to give players access to bonus content from the collector's edition of "Fable II." The chest contains Hal's Outfit and Hal's Sword. These items are references to the "Halo" game series. Hal's Outfit is a medieval version of Master Chief's Mjolnir Armor. Hal's Sword is a crystal sword shaped exactly like the energy sword from "Halo."

     Press the "Xbox" button on the controller to open the guide menu.

     Choose "Redeem Code" from the guide menu under the "Marketplace" tab.

     Enter the code from the download card inserted in the case of "Fable II: Collector's Edition." A short download occurs after you enter the code.

     Start "Fable II."

   • 5

     Examine the chest in the Hero's Guild to open it to get Hal's Sword and Hal's Armor.
