How to Unlock Base Jumps on Just Cause 2

"Just Cause 2" is an open world, third-person shooter game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. In the game, you play as Rico -- an American agent who wreaks havoc to bring down a dictator. However, the stunts you can do in the game world are more impressive than the game's story. One such stunt is base jumping from either a balloon or a mountain. In order to base jump, you must buy a parachute.

Instructions

  Purchase a parachute at any in-game store.

  Climb to the top of one of the following mountains: Snow Peak, Desert Peak or Tropical Peak. You can also get on the Mile High Club balloons to perform the base jump.

  Jump off from the highest point of the mountain or balloon you are on.

  Move the left analog stick up to dive, down to slow, and left and right to steer. Press "X" to release your parachute after you've been falling for at least 1,000 meters in the PlayStation 3 version, or press "A" to release the parachute in the Xbox 360 version. This unlocks the "I Believe I Can Fly" achievement.
