How to Get More Followers in Fable 2

"Fable 2" is a 2008 role-playing game for the Xbox 360. You can choose to be either a male or female character and explore the land of Albion. Apart from performing quests to help them out, you can also interact with characters in the game world by using expressions. If you give characters gifts and perform expressions that they like, this will increase the goodwill of other characters toward your character. Some quests in the game require your character to have a certain amount of people following him in order to get to a location.

Instructions

  Play the game and increase your "renown" as much as possible in the area where you want more followers. Do this by killing enemies, paying bards found in pubs or inns to sing songs about you and winning competitions. Another easy way to get renown is to marry someone in the region, buy a house and have children. The more renowned you are, the more followers you can get.

  Dress your character in non-threatening clothes. Wearing evil outfits will scare away people, making it impossible to get them to follow you. Clothing such as the mage robe or wizard hat will make your character seem less threatening and allow you to get more followers.

  Face the character that you want to follow you and press the "Right Bumper" on your gamepad to bring up the social menu. Select the "Follow" command and the person will become a follower.

  Repeat the process on other characters in order to get more followers. While getting more followers, the ones following you might start to lose interest, so interact with them by performing different expressions before they wander off.
