How to Defeat Vulture in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

"Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions" for the Xbox 360 gives players the opportunity to take control of the web-slinging Spider-Man in four distinct alternate universes. The encounter with the supervillain Vulture takes place in the Spider-Man Noir universe, a black-and-white world based on the pulp detective comics of yesteryear. This alternate universe version of the character is a gang leader instead of a mad-scientist. However, many of the Vulture's usual special abilities are still represented, such as throwing knives instead of feather blades and acrobatics instead of a flight suit, which makes him a serious threat.

Instructions

  Move out of the way whenever Vulture prepares to attack you. He has three distinct attack patterns. His first attack is to crouch low then spring forth to attack you. Strafe left or right to dodge this attack. His second move is to throw knives at you whenever you move away from him. Stay close to avoid this attack. His third move is a counterattack where he crosses both arms in front of his chest and slashes forward. Back up to avoid this attack.

  Attack the Vulture using your strongest moves and combinations whenever you are not dodging his attacks. When his health points get low he will start to move the fight up into the rafters and throw knives from afar.

  Press "Up" on the control pad to activate your Spider-Sense and track down the Vulture. Press the "Right Trigger" to Web-Zip over to where the Vulture is standing. Press the "B" button to expose him with the spotlight. This will trigger a small cutscene where Spider-Man attacks the Vulture.

  Attack Vulture when he returns to the ground using the same strategy as before. Vulture will add a new move to his attack pattern where he jumps into support beams. Use the Web-Kick to knock him back down to the ground so that you can continue the fight. When he has only a quarter of his health left, Vulture will hide in the rafters again.

  Activate Spider-Sense again to quickly find Vulture and Web-Zip to his location. This time when you expose him with the spotlight, Spider-Man will automatically finish off the rest of his health points and the battle will be complete.
