How to Restart The Pitt in Fallout 3

"The Pitt" is the second downloadable content add-on to the game "Fallout 3." In "The Pitt," players travel from the Capital Wasteland to the remnants of Pittsburgh, which is suffering from a plague of human mutation. There are multiple ways to complete "The Pitt" depending on whether you are playing as a good character, a bad character or something in between. However, if you make a mistake, you may not receive the ending you prefer. Restarting "The Pitt" is the only way to avoid this mistake, but doing so requires preparation on the player's behalf.

     Open the Game Save menu prior to playing "The Pitt" and create a new game save.

     Create another new game save as soon as you begin playing "The Pitt," separate to the one that was created prior. This will ensure that the game save you made before starting "The Pitt" is not accidentally overwritten.

     Load the game save made prior to starting "The Pitt" at any time whenever you want to restart.
