How to Get the Key Sword in Castle Crashers

Players obtain a variety of weapons with unique properties and statistics as they progress through The Behemoth's independently developed side-scrolling Xbox 360 game, "Castle Crashers." Every weapon a character has unlocked appears in the character's weapon arsenal in the Blacksmith stage. Players can visit the Blacksmith stage at any time to change their current equipment. The "Keyblade" is a large, key-shaped sword characters can equip as a weapon and use to unlock doors to hidden game areas.

Instructions

  Select the Blacksmith stage on the stage selection screen to visit your Animal Ark. Approach the cardinal, a pet with the ability to locate hidden items, and press "A" to make it your active animal companion. Complete the Industrial Castle level after Pippstrello's Cave to unlock the cardinal pet if it does not already appear in your Animal Ark.

  Press "Start" and exit the Animal Ark to return to the stage selection screen. Scroll to the "Full Moon" stage and press "A."

  Enter the stage and walk to the right, avoiding falling rocks and fighting any enemies you encounter on the way. Continue up the mountain to the right until you reach the group of huts near the stage's end.

  Approach the second hut in the group. Wait for the cardinal to fly into the hut and return with the Keyblade. Press "X" to pick up the key sword.
