How to Get to Prestige on Modern Warfare 2 Fast in Split-Screen on a PS3

"Modern Warfare 2" is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (PS3). In the multiplayer portion of the game, players can compete with and against other online players in a host of different match types. If you are trying to prestige with a friend in split-screen mode on the PS3, there is a certain match type that helps you do that the fastest.

Instructions

  Load the "Modern Warfare 2" game disc in your PS3 console and connect two controllers. Log in to your PS3 account(s) when prompted in the game.

  Select the multiplayer option from the game's main menu, then select the split-screen mode.

  Choose the "Find match" option. Select "Search and Destroy" and your match type. Join the match.

  Follow the onscreen directions to play the match with your split-screen partner. Aim for the head when shooting enemies as much as you can. Each regular kill earns you 500 XP, and each headshot kill earns you 1,000 XP toward prestige.
