How to Get the Lucky Winner Achievement in Bioshock

The "Lucky Winner" achievement is awarded to players who win the slot machine jackpot in "BioShock." You can find slot machines in the few casinos you can enter in the underwater city of Rapture. As with slot machines in real life, achieving the jackpot is down to pure luck. You will eventually win, but it will probably take multiple attempts. The "Lucky Winner" achievement rewards you with 10 Gamerscore points. You also win the cash jackpot prize of $250.

  Collect $500 from various sources throughout the game's world. Find money in cash registers and on enemy corpses.

  Enter a casino, such as Sir Prize in Poseidon Plaza in the area near the entrance to Fort Frolic, and go to the slot machines. Press "Start" to open the pause menu and then save your game.

  Stand in front of a slot machine and press "A." Continue to do this until you get a row of three "$" symbols. Load your saved game if you run out of money before you win the jackpot and then continue to play on the slot machines.
