How to Get Spaces in Your Gamertag

Xbox 360 console owners are identifiable by their Gamertag, or account/profile name, which is visible to friends and online players. If you don't like your Gamertag or if you'd just like to make a modification to it, such as adding spaces, you can do so by going into your account settings.

Instructions

      Turn on your Xbox 360 console and a controller and then sign in to your account.

      Open the "My Xbox" menu, select your profile, and then choose the "Change Gamertag" option.

      Select the "Enter New Gamertag" option and press the right and left bumpers on your controller to move the cursor to the point in your Gamertag where you want to insert a space.

      Select the "Spacebar" button on the on-screen keyboard to insert a space into your Gamertag and repeat as necessary.

      Press the "Start" button to continue and then press the "Yes, use this gamertag" button to finish adding space(s) to your Gamertag.
