How to Hook Up an Xbox to a Vizio

Vizio features a lineup of HD TVs designed for such activities as playing HD games and watching HD movies. One way you can play HD games on a Vizio is through an Xbox 360. Using the cords that come with the Xbox, it is easy to hook the system up to the television, even if you know nothing about technology. Just match the ends of the cords to the colored holes on the TV and the shape of the cords.

Instructions

  Plug the AV cord into the designated area on the back of the Xbox. Plug the colored ends into a free AV plug on the TV. Match the colors to the holes.

  Plug the power cord into the far left hole on the back of the Xbox and the plug into a free outlet near the television.

  Plug the Ethernet cord into the far right hole on the back of the Xbox. Plug the other end into your router.

  Turn your TV to the input into which you plugged the AV cord. For example, component 1, component 2, AV 1 or AV 2. Power on the Xbox and play.
